La Voz, the Bilingual Voice of the Hispanic and non-Hispanic Community is looking for people to be part of this exciting, new and vital enterprise.
We are looking for Reporters, Writers, Translators, Artists, Photographers, Administrative Assistants and Advertising Salespeople to get on board and make a difference in the community.
High School Student Interns (Reporters and Photographers) are needed to report on their school and activities for La Voz.
We are also looking for Production Interns from SRJC and SSU who aspire to be graphic or website designers. Interest in computer graphics and know-ledge of Windows platform and one or more of the following software programs, Adobe PageMaker 7.0, CorelDRAW and Adobe Photoshop is required. Learn design, lay-out and typesetting in a real world situation. Excellent opportunity for students to gain "hands-on" experience and be an essential part of producing a quality monthly publication. Instruction will be provided by Ani Weaver Morse, MA, former instructor in SSU and SRJC's Computer Science Departments.
